Ok grab a cup of your favorite beverage and have a look see at all my awesome BEAUTIFUL & SMART girls that I have had the honor of photographing. These girls are on there way to the Miss Virginia Pageant being held in Roanoke VA from June 21st - 27th. And while you are on the Miss Virginia site go ahead and vote for them all as People’s Choice.
Ok I have to start with Miranda Harrison Miss Arlington Outstanding Teen 2009! It is because of her that I got into the volunteering for such a great organization.
Then we had some fun with some great makeup and a ring flash in the basement of my studio (more about that later).
What I think makes this such a great shot is the fact that her platform is “Go Green Girl” !
So next came Miss Piedmont Region Scholarship Program.
This is where I volunteered to photograph the whole event and as part of the many gifts the winners received, they received a head shot session from me!
So first we have Miss Piedmont Region 2009 Miss Veronica Rohrmoser
Veronica’s platform is “Donate Life” Organ Donation. To read why this is so near and dear to her heart you can check it out here.
Next up Annika Wooton MIss Piedmont Region’s Outstanding Teen 2009
Annika’s plat form is “Spare Your Change–Spare a Life”…raising money for the African Well Fund.
Last but not least is Madison Scherrer Miss Piedmont Region’s Outstanding Preteen 2009.
Cute little Miss Madison’s platform is “Literacy” This girl has raised an amazing amount of book for under privilege kids.
Ok so after meeting all these beautiful girls I got to meet Emily Fletcher Miss Virginia Dogwood 2009
and her cute little sister Olivia Fletcher Miss Hill City Outstanding Preteen 2009
So as I close this long post of delishious images I want to wish each one of you girls GOOD LUCK & HAVE FUN!
Oh and I can’t for get to let you know that the earrings and necklasces that Miranda and Annika are wearing are hand made pieces by Marybeth Grinnan!
